On Saturday night I headed in to the city for Melbourne’s second White Night. White Night is a night when the CBD is turned in to a pedestrian precinct and handed over to Artists and street performers. Last years White Night attracted approx 300,000 people, this year they say that the count could have been as high as half a million.
The city was CRAAAAAAZY. There were so many people there that it was almost impossible to see anything that wasn’t 100 ft high. Luckily the spectacular light show was easy to spot and I managed to get some great shots.
As a cultural center Melbourne is very quickly becoming well know as a vibrant and exciting city but I can’t wait for my next White Night which if everything goes to plan, will be in Paris.
