A medic who treated victims of the Pulse gay club shooting in Orlando has opened up about the horrific experience. 49 people died and more than 50 were injured in the shooting, when a gunman who swore allegiance to ISIS opened fire inside the gay club, which was holding a Latin night. The victims were disproportionately Latino LGBT people. One of the doctors called to the scene, Dr Joseph Ibrahim, spoke about…

I just got home from the London Pride parade for a quick change before heading out for some dancing and celebrating with friends and I thought I’d share these pictures straight out of the camera with you. Top of my list of places to visit in Barcelona is the Sagrada Familia. This iconic structure in the heart of Barcelona is a must see for anybody who has a love of architecture and human creativity. It’s one of the most stunning buildings I have ever seen and when finished will be quite simply breath taking. Barcelona is famous for it’s architecture particularly by Antoni Gaudí. Gaudi’s work can be seen…

This week New Zealand became the first country in the Asia-Pacific region to achieve equal marriage. With 13 countries now recognising marriage equality, Australia long thought of as a modern progressive nation is lagging sorely behind. I admit that my own views on equal marriage have changed over time. Originally I didn’t really have an opinion either way. I didn’t think I needed to have my relationships validated by anyone….
