It’s home time, Wooohoooo!
I landed in Melbourne last night. It’s sooooooo good to be home. my family were all waiting for me at dinner and my little cousins came running up to me when they saw me. They are adorable. It’s good to be home and although I am jet lagged as fuck I’m feeling pretty good from someone who has spent the last 24 hours travelling.
Leg one was London to Singapore. 13 hours on the A380. If you’re travelling on a long journey and you get the A380 try to get a seat on the upper deck. If you’re not lucky enough to be in the pointy end the upper deck is the next best thing. It’s smaller area so you get more attention and it’s a lot quieter than the main deck. I booked myself an exit row seat too. For the extra 140£ it’s well worth it.
Leg two was on the new A350 which is a really nice aircraft and very comfortable. Slightly more space in coach and better quality entertainment systems than most aircraft including the A380. We even got a water cannon salute as we landed at Tullamarine Airport.
I’ve still got loads to post about from London including my trips to Cambridge and the standing stones at Avery. But Im going back to bed now.
Home feels good.
