It’s our differences that make us special.

Im back for 2013 and here is my first video blog of the year. I decided to share with you one of my New Years resolutions this year and take the opportunity to remind you all that the things that make you different are also the things that make you special and you should embrace them.

I don’t know how much you have followed Star Trek but the Vulcan’s a philosophy called IDIC which stands for Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations, which for them is the celebrating the vast array of variables in the universe.
We are who we are and despite that we do try and change things that we really can’t change rather than try and focus on what we have got and be better at who we are.

Just look around us and we are bombard with images of people that we are told that these people are the ones that are the most beautiful people. That’s when you see a lot of people in the asian country’s trying to look more european. Even if you look at bollywood actors/actresses look very european. We have created a sub culture that supports superficial views and looks.

And this comes to the gay nightlife world, which in some ways really don’t support the idea that people are different. There is many different superficial parts of life and even more so in the gay world. Just think of all those men going to gym day in and day out for what? All for that allusions created by today’s media.

We all have to accept who we are the good and the bad and sometimes the bad isn’t that bad. If anyone doesn’t like that part of us then they are not worth knowing, they are the ones living with a superficial view of the world.
