    I love your cap.

I’m not sure why any American would complain about your use of the word “pants,” since we distinguish between pants and underwear just the same way you do. Well, maybe the phrase “no pants” could also be understood to mean “no pants or underwear,” but we wouldn’t say that someone in his underwear and nothing else was wearing pants.

9.5 for the dancing, had to deduct .5 for the fall but it was a great recovery!!!! I LOVED IT & you made my day!!! :) Here in America we have pants and underwear. I think folks just want to see the “goods”. (raging hormones) lol if you want to call it that. Wait can a 48 year old man still have raging hormones? lol! My grandfather called flip flops: “thongs” or “zories”, and I tend to call them thongs…with an “s” rather than a Thong that you would wear to cover the goods. I’m not sure where the word zorie is from or if it’s even spelled correctly but it was a fun word as a kid. He was a Marine and traveled out of the states so maybe it is a word from a different culture.

    Okay, enough…….Have a great day!
    Much love from IOWA, USA

Hilarious. I think the confusion stems from the word “underpants.” Sometimes we call underwear “underpants,” but I’ve definitely never heard anyone refer to them as just pants; at least, not in California. Unless, they call their pants “slacks” and then they might call their underwear “pants,” but that’s just silly.

The real confusion here is your use of the word “piss,” because that definitely means something different in the US. I’m not really into watersports. :-)

I think the people in the U.S. are just calling them pants to see you naked. I don’t know nor have heard of anyone here calling a pair of underwear pants. I have heard of underpants, but that is a separate thing from pants. That is just a cuter way of saying underwear.
